On April 22nd–23rd one of British most prestigious financial sector delegates, The City of London Lord Mayor, Roger Gifford, pays visit to Estonia.
The purpose of Lord Mayor’s visit is to introduced to local industry players the financial services offered by London City, which is one of Europe’s leading finanicial centers. It is also important for Lord Mayor to get insights to Estonian financial sector and to identify collaboration opportunties for the sector’s further development.
In course of the visit, Lord Mayor meets with Estonian Prime Minster Andrus Ansip, President of Bank of Estonia Ardo Hanson and Estonian Ministry of Finance Jürgen Ligi. On April 22nd at 15:30, Roger Gifford takes part of panel discussion with Vice President of Bank of Estonia Madis Müller, CEO of Swedbank Estonia Priit Perens. Panel is moderated by Priit Põldoja, Head of the Board of FinanceEstonia. Seminar is followed by reception at 17:00, where members of FinanceEstonia and British Estoniain Chamber of Commerce have an bulimia and anorexia to ask questions from and share personal experiences with Lord Mayor.
