Warm-up to Startup Day: Fundraising and Expansion to UK and beyond

There are more startups springing up in Estonia than ever before. It’s no secret Estonia is famous for its unicorns Skype, TransferWise, Pipedrive, Testlio, Starship Techologies, Jobbatical as well as its top level talents and entrepreneurial mindset. What all these unicorns have in common is – rapid expansion to international markets and fundraising in early stage.

To survive and grow as a startup you need to expand. To expand you need to gain access to investment, market knowledge and access to network and right go-to-market strategy. How to expand outside Estonia? Where to meet the right people? How to connect with them? Do you need to relocate your team? Which markets you should be considering? How to approach foreign investors? How to earn their trust? Product or traction – can you raise without one or the other?

Join us for insightful discussions with Eamonn Carey from Techstars, Piotr Pisarz from DN Capital, Triin Kask from Nevercode, Thomas Davies from Funderbeam.
